The Navigation tag - <nav> Tag

The <nav> tag indicates to a section of page that may link to other pages or to parts within the page itself.

The navigation tag may be considered as a section in the page that contains navigational links to other pages or the same page.

A document may contain several nav tags, for example, one for the intra-page navigation and one for site navigation.

Example code:

<html>
  <body>
    <nav id="mainMenu">
      <a href="index.html">Home</a>
      <a href="about us.html">About us</a>
      <a href="users.html">Users Online</a>
      <a href="contact us.html">Contact Us</a>
    </nav>
  </body>
</html>
